I want to replace my computer with either the Sony Vaio laptop CR25G in pink, or the HP pavilion desktop a6340a with a 22″ screen. I’ll be using it mainly for surfing the net and school related stuff. No, i don’t need to bring the laptop around etc. I just need a replacement for my computer at home. Help would be greatly appreciated.

    to choose solely between the 2 sony would be much better dell makes proprietary (to thier own design not standard) computers. sony would be more likely to live longer I have NEVER seen a Dell or HP (they own Compaq and Gateway) live past 2-3 years past thier standart 1 yr. warranty
