Hi, here are some ideas for next autopsy sessions: big bulky laser printer or copy machine, broadcast camera and equipment, and of course any kind of special stuff that-is-not-available-at-your-local-retailer as electron microscope, mass spectrograph, machine tools, expandable airdrop sonobuoy, and more… By the way what are you willing to do with the enormous tv transmitter ? geekgroup tv ?

You went and said you would have Andy’s name there, but I don’t remember it popping up, haha. That makes you look weird when your on screen things aren’t there :-P

I was talking about modern laptops, which use LEDs. Modern, does not mean budget laptop, I mean modern tech. I was referring toward the end where he says modern computers use OLED for back lighting, which isn’t true because OLED isn’t a back light.

The thing with the little heatsink on it is probably a combined northbridge+gfx chip.

no most all laptops use cold cathod ray tubes for back lighting. Only in the last some 6months has led technology become even kind of affordable as a back light technology. Even then a number of budget laptops still use cold cathode. But yes led and oled are different things and oled produce their own light letting them be as thin as you want.

Modern computers do not use OLED back lit displays. They use regular LEDs. An OLED screen is one where the actual screen itself is luminescent. An OLED screen is not an LCD screen, two completely different things.

I cringed when you got the wrench out… I practically screamed keyboard screw. I wish I could have been there to call that.

Well… I did have a cool factoid here, but youtube hates me… soooo…

    Here is a tl;dr

In 1945, Lieutenant Grace Murray Hopper coined the term “Computer bug” when a moth shorted out a calculator. Upon removal of said moth, the report that was written up stated that the device had been “Debugged”

Just an interesting little factoid. If you’d like more info, message me. Youtube hates when I post links
